Kari and I have rented a 30' Newport Sailboat in Newport Harbor for the 19th.  If you are unaware the Newport Christmas Light Parade is that weekend and we would like to invite you to join us to watch the light parade and/or go sailing and/or go for a nighttime tour of the famous homes in the harbor and their decorations.  We did this two years ago and it was a great success albeit very cold.  Right now the weather is predicted to be 70 during the day and 58 at night so much better than two years ago.

You are invited to participate in any of the following:

Come down at 10 and go sailing in around this wonderful harbor till 3 or 4 in the afternoon, bring drink and food for this.  Later we will get the boat ready for the guests including stringing up some Christmas Lights and tidying up from the day of sailing. 

At 6:00 the Christmas Light Parade will start.  More info about this can be found at http://www.christmasboatparade.com/ check out what it is and we'll hang out on the boat drink some hot cocoa and watch the million dollar yachts go by with their decorations.

At 9:00pm the brave and warmly dressed are welcome to take the ultimate Christmas Light tour.  We will start up the diesel on the boat and motor around the harbor.  Hang out on deck with your warmest clothes and see how the homes are decorated for this holiday season.  A lot of fun and something most never see.  We'll drink up the rest of the Hot Cocoa and play Christmas Music as we check out the holiday lights.

It is very important you RSVP and let us know if you're coming or not or may by this Sunday.  We're not planning on food so depending on how long you want to hang bring something to eat or snack on.
