Part 1

I will not panic, stress, or worry about this problem more than needs be. There is no sense in worrying about this problem when with my son, wife, family or friends. They do not need to be burdened with MY PROBLEM they will support me and tell me they love me and slap me sensless whenever I need it. Kari, who’s strength is the most precious part of my life has already taken on more burden than she should have to endure. I must keep my wits about me as I will need it to solve this problem.

Part 2

I will set clear and DEFINE goals to the reason why I WANT to solve this problem and not give up. DESIRE is the most important element in true enthusiasm, and to create it there must be a clear and definite goal that I wish to achieve.

Part 3

I can solve this problem. And will be enthusiastic about solving it.

As with all other problems I have encountered in my life, this problem will be difficult but is solvable. It’s solution is already decided, if not yet evident to me. I look forward to the success of solving this problem much like I look forward to the success of solving any other problems. I am confident in my ability to solve this problem and will solve it utterly and completely.

Part 4

I must de-confuse the problem. First by writing down every part of the problem as I do here.

Adjusters Reference Manual is loosing 85% of it’s renewals due to insufficient results. As a result of that the ONLY salesperson we have will run out of renewals, no later than November 2006. If she continues until such time she will most likely look for other areas of income shortly thereafter unless two things can occur. 1. A selling strategy or offering to renewals that will increase her percentage to over 100% by regaining past clients. 2. A source of NEW customers can be found that she can then renew and upgrade.

Efforts to build a sales force within an office setting have been lackluster. There is a combination of reasons for this. 1. I was not prepared for how difficult it would be to close the sale even after getting interest. 2. The primary objections are again proof of results, and an unawareness of our company. 3. Even getting to the decision maker is difficult without a compelling offer.

Ultimate failure to solve the problems of either a or b will result in the failure of the company and require the repayment of the debt on the business possibly solely out of pocket of Peter and I. Additionally it will attack the funds that we have managed to save for the future and livelyhood for the next several months.

Part 5

I will not spend time being upset about how I got here and I will not say Why didn I do this or that?

Part 6

I will look for the solution of the next step, not the whole problem. One step leads to another, and another, if I can solve part I can solve the whole.

Party 7

I will practice creative listening. I will, in a positive frame of mind with enthusiasm talk through this paper and this problem and listen quietly for the answer as it will come and it will be right.

Part 8

The answer will be in itself the right thing to do, I have always prided myself on honesty and the ability to do what’s right, this strength will guide me to the best possible answer and ultimately will lead to our success.

Part 9

Keep praying, keep thinking keep believing, keep enthusiasm going, for it works miracles in problems.
