Beverly Kane's Birthday and Family Reunion.
March 15, 2006
Today we left for Phoenix, Az to attend amongst other things Beverly Kane's birthday party this coming up Saturday. This is not in itself the most consequential event of the day. Today also represents the day that I finally gave depositions in our case against Sandra Grana and company. The depositions were terribly frustrating and intimidating, however, according to my partner must have went well because, by the end of his depositions the Grana family seemed willing to settle. We will find out next week what exactly for hopefully.
Our drive out was inconsequential, I must say that I was a bit caught up in my own mind going through the details of the deposition and not taking in my surroundings as I usually would on this type of trip. I tell you that what this lawsuit is sooo emotionally overwhelming and distracting it has really changed my whole personality. And this too shall pass. Anyway, as the sun was setting I was hoping to find a place to pull over and show Jacob the stars from the dark and desolate desert sky, but as it grew darker the moon began to rise negating the benefit of true winter star gazing. The moon was spectacular, rising up through the early night atmosphere was magnified to at least twice it's normal size.
