Saturday morning and the middle of my 4 day weekend.  I found out that I didn't get the job in San Diego which made my decision to decline the position if I had gotten it very easy LOL.  It went to Craig Oprea the son in law of Rich Sells and a Sales Manager already in the SD area managing a similarly size location.  If I were Jerry that's the decision i'd make...

Anyway I'm just here reading a book I was given for fathers day from mom called Revolutionary Wealth by Alvin and Heidi Toffler.  They write about the change in economy from the primary Industrial economic force of the US to the now Knowledge based economy.  It won't the be products we produce in the future that create strong wealth it will be the things we think of.

I think that really we are moving into a Service Economy.  It will be the people who bring entertainment and service the the public that will receive wealth.  Prior to the agricultural age I believe we were in a Service Economy.  Think about it when you read or hear biblical stories all trade was based in service, vendors at the market, entertainers in the plaza, and traveling teachers.  These are in their most basic form service industries.  You don't hear about farmers nearly as much although they must have existed.  It is the salespeople the service workers who are making the money for the time bringing services to the poor, middle class and to the very very wealthy.

As we continue in the US to rape and pillage the middle class and the separation between the poor and the rich continue to broaden this could very well become the only option for people to uplift themselves from their position.
