It wouldn't be so bad to have a terminal disease where you knew the end was coming. We all could die at any minute but when you know about when you're going to die you can plan much better. I recently helped a family that the husband Norman had terminal cancer. He'd been fighting it for some time but one thing was clear... He fully intended to live and do the things he wanted for what little time he had left.
Neither he or his wife had ever made a lot of money. He was a michinist and his wife was a factory worker and you could tell they had to work their whole life to get what they had. Today, however, after selecting what they wanted for their arrangements I noticed that she had a brand new Mustang and he 'accidentally' grabbed the wrong keys to his car, "A Jag!" he said. Most of us spend our whole lilfe fighting for enough money just to not work, many times to die soon after retirement or even before. I truly do want to find my medium, work enough to be occupied and play enough to not regret. I really would be dissapointed if I made it to the end of this run without owning the car of my dreams. Or seeing everything I could.
Wish me luck, and good luck to you to.
