2006, September 20th

Well we are 1 week into our settlement and I got to say that so far Sandra has been really focused on getting us all up and going.  She has rallied the team of emailers around her to start filling the pipeline of leads.  So that's going well. 

I have also done well at work so I am back on top and it looks like I will finish strong this month and that next month has some really good possibilities too.  So that's going well.

The bad news is that the Attorney bills were absolutely atrocious and even though Peter got them spread out over the next three months we absolutely are going to struggle with them.

Also, we received word that we are being Audited for Maddie and Me productions from 2003 and 2004.  WOW let me tell you this is like the straw that will break the camels back for us.  The Federal wants like 11k of their money back and that's before interest.  The state hasn't even said.  There is a ray of hope it looks like they just completely disallowed the Partnership.  We don't know why and we can only determine that they are disallowing all partnership returns prepared by JRG and associates.  That seems to be the only reasonable conclusion since Jack and his partner have basically been indicted by the IRS for misleading their clients into overstating their deductions.  We'll have to see how it turns out but this will just be added to the top of the stack. 

We'll just have to stay positive and hope that everything works out for the best.  Who knows maybe ARM will do so well we can turn it around.
