October 5th!!!!!!

I cannot explain what is wrong with me, this is a simple thing to do yet I seem to make it so hard.  It also seems I only get motivated to do this when something is really wrong.  It would be nice to spend a good day writing in this journal.  So I could tell you all the good things I did that day.

Anyway,  We did have our best month ever.  Over 25k last month.  Not much thanks to the office however, they only did 4800 the rest was Michelle renewing all the Platinum and Gold accounts we have for like 10 years.... I'm exaggerating but it will be difficult for her to continue on that path, as so many of her sales came from so few clients.

Nevertheless the office did not hit their expectations and we are closing the office in an attempt to reduce costs and shelter more money for ourselves to try and pay peter and I back for the efforts we have done while saving some money for attorney fees, the latter of which may be a lot.  Willie and Tammy took the news pretty good and we basically offered them the same job at home but they must maintain a personal cost of no more than 50% which means they need to sell each about 2k to cover our expenses on them depending on how many hours they turn in weekly.  So we should be out of the office by the end of the week. (By the way, Lannette didn't work out).

We also heard news from our attorney today, well and yesterday.  Yesterday they came back with, "if you continue to pay on the loan we will mediate."  Today, (since we said "hell no").  They came back with, OK then we'll go to court and by the way we are going to file a cross complaint where the charges are so absolute that we will win a settlement on our case through Judge's summary.

So far we're not scared as we couldn't figure that there would be any grounds except for the promissory note which states that should we default on the note the note in it's entirety become due and payable.  John did some additional research today to make sure he was in the right with the law... He claims he is.

So in a nutshell that's the bad, let's end with some hope.

Kari found us an awesome opportunity to buy a Midas here in Redlands.  It will be very reasonable to get into since there's a not in existence we can take over.  We will need only like 80k to get in and it nets including the note somewhere in the neighborhood of 100k.... and that's absentee run.  If I run the place it will be about 160k.... Sounds good to me right now, I hope the other thing doesn't stop us from getting this.
